Over the years, I’ve had the chance to speak to many current AND former, Boise State football players. Players who I grew up watching at the stadium. Players who were truly part of some of the greatest moments of my life (at that point).
When I speak with them, I can remember specific memories of the moments. Like when speaking with Winston Venable , I could remember being in Brazil, watching the Fiesta Bowl vs TCU on dial-up internet that I bought from an illegal site (which ended up being a year long subscription that I didn’t realize I was on)
Speaking with Nick Schlekeway and Vinny Perretta brought me back to some of my fondest memories and an incredible trip to Arizona.
Speaking with Coach Dan Hawkins brought me back to some of those amazing years leading UP to that 2007 Fiesta Bowl.
And speaking with Athletic Director, Jeramiah Dickey gave me some serious hope for the future of the programs at Boise State.
Boise State is my alma mater. I grew up here in the Treasure Valley. It’s been amazing seeing the program now and seeing the tremendous growth from where it was before. It’s insane actually!
Grateful to have a platform where I can highlight these stories and bring back the memories that shaped my childhood and even my later years!
